OJ Eagles continued their domination of the water polo tournament when they beat Maties 7-2 in the final to make it nine years in a row that they have been crowned champions.

They led 3-0 at the end of the first quarter and really decided the outcome of the game. However, the quality of water polo in the second and third quarters was excellent with both goal keepers outstanding. OJ only managed to score a goal in each quarter and these came in the last seconds of each quarter. Maties finally got onto the score sheet in the second minute of the last quarter which then saw a flurry of goals and saw OJ once again prove themselves to be the top club team in the country.

Game of Throws, a scratch team made up of players within Johannesburg plus one from KZN won the ladies tournament when they easily beat UCT 7-3 in the final.

In the Universities tournament UCT and Maties dominated both the men and the ladies with Maties beating UCT 5-4 to take the mens title whilst UCT reversed that result to take the ladies crown 7-6.
