OVERVIEW
Agdervanic Caterers was founded 20 years ago to service the needs of the Old Edwardian Society, taking over the premises from the Health and Racquet Group. A major refurbishment of our facilities has now been completed in July 2014.
In addition to servicing the sub clubs of the Society, Agdervanic offer a full range of function services from theme & birthday parties, cocktail functions and buffet dinners/dances to five star plated meals. In conjunction with the Society, we are able to organize outdoor corporate team building events.
To complement our service, we are able to source decorators, florists, hire companies for additional requirements, speciality cakes for that special occasions, and music. We offer various sized function rooms accommodating from 20 to 350 people. We also have well appointed meeting and conference rooms available, with reasonable packages to suit your specific needs.
Agdervanic run two bar areas (both fully licensed), the Kings Tavern and the new Sports Bar. The Kings Tavern is situated upstairs with panoramic views across the bowling greens, whilst the Sports Bar is on the ground floor overlooking the Alan Lawson cricket oval. This venue is ideal for outdoor braais.
Both venues also offer good, wholesome bar meals throughout the day.
Agdervanic is personally managed by Derek & Des, who collectively have more than 50 years experience in their field. For this reason, Agdervanic prides itself in being able to give not only personal service, but service at the most affordable price for your particular function.
