Although they dropped their first points of the season the ladies hockey retained their unbeaten record after a further two matches.

The Home of Hockey Ladies game  was played at Edenvale High school and it proved to be their toughest match so far. They were also unbeaten  and looking at promotion at the end of the season. We had to come from behind three times before ending the match at 3-3 which was a fair result. Our goals came from Claire Visser, Catherine van Eyk and Gabriela Garcia.

Then with a depleted squad due to injuries they beat Midrand 4-0 yesterday with the ladies showing sheer grit and determination with no subs available on the bench. Catherine van Eyk and Cathy Gunn each whilst Gabriela Garcia added a brace.

We welcomed our first school girls into the team, Khanyi Maseko and Natalie Duligal and so a very warm welcome to them and look forward to the long journey with them.
